ABS/ABSSL Metallurgical Microscope (Part code: ABSMIC)
The microscope is a standard metallurgical microscope with a single x10 objective and a single x10 eyepiece lens (x100 magnification). It is fitted with a 1 micron resolution digital micrometer stage with a special adapter to hold the specimen holder. Various options are also available such as extra objectives for higher magnification, wear scar measurement camera etc.
The micrometer supplied with the micoscope comes with a calibration certificate. HFRR microscopes can be used to measure ABS specimens. Please note that users with the older HFRR metallurgical microscope need to purchase an adapter (ABSMICAPT) to view ABS specimens.
