To run an ABSSL test the following specimens are used:

(Part code: ABSBALL)

ABSSL Test Rings
(Part code: ABSSLRING)

Description

1/2" steel ball as per D5001. One ball is used per test.
 

The test rings are manufactured to ASTM D6078 and supplied in packs of 10.
