Standalone Operation
This section describes how to operate the HFRR in 'standalone' mode (i.e. without a PC). The operation of the instrument with a PC is described in the HFRPC or the AUTOHFR Software sections.
Introduction
Switch on the power to the HFRR using the mains switch on the rear of the unit. The 'Power On' light on the keypad will illuminate and the display will show:

Where Dxxx is your HFRR's serial number. The 'main menu' will be displayed:

If a relative humidity and temperature probe is connected to the HFRR, then the ambient temperature and RH will be displayed in place of the time and date.
The keys on the keypad change their functions depending on the instrument's operating mode. Their functions at any time are shown on the bottom line of the display above each key.
For example from the main menu screen shown above, INFO will display the instrument serial number, the firmware version and the total number of tests started and finished (the x's will be replaced by the corresponding information from your HFRR).

HISTORY displays a summary of the last 50 tests carried out on the instrument. From this screen, and any other screen where you see "READY", pressing this button will get you back to the main menu.
