HFRR Upper and Lower Specimen Holders
These items can either be sold seperately or as a set (part code: HFRULS).
Upper specimen holder (Part code: HFRUSH)
Replacement Upper specimen holder that holds the upper specimen, which is normally a 6.0mm diameter ball. The upper specimen is held in place by a small grub screw.
Lower specimen holder (part code: HFRLSH)
Replacement Lower specimen holder that holds the lower specimen, which is normally a 10mm diameter disc held in a recess in the specimen holder. The lower specimen is retained by two button headed socket screws. The specimen holder is clamped to the heater block by two socket head cap screws. An angled hole in the left side of the specimen holder provides location for the main RTD used to measure the lower specimen temperature. The capacity of the lower specimen holder is approximately 5ml of fluid.
